@VThopeful23 I also got that financial aid email which calmed my nerves. Hopefully we hear this week

I suggest checking every day this week. My application status page changed to accepted on a Monday.

@mcresse19 not that it really matters, but do you remember what day of the week you received your bird? I got mine on Thursday around 1:30, so I’m hoping to hear back by Thursday at the latest.

@mollymcb I think I sent my mid term grades on Monday Feb. 25th, confirmation Tuesday Feb. 26th, Hokie bird Wednesday or Thursday (27th or 28th), and then that very next Monday (March 4th) I was accepted. For me it happened very quickly!

@mcresse19 Wow yours really was quick! I sent my midterm grades on March 15th (Friday), received confirmation on March 18th (Monday) and got my Hokie bird on March 21st (Thursday) so I guess in perspective mine has been rather quick as well. Hoping tomorrow is my lucky day!

@VThopeful23
Do they give aid to internationals?

Has anyone gotten accepted into Pamplin yet?
I still haven’t gotten a bird :/

@lotbirds I have a few friends who applied to Pamplin for the summer session and they haven’t gotten a bird yet either. Don’t worry, they’re probably just not finished reviewing applications!

May 1st is the final wave of acceptances, so anyone still waiting, there is quite a bit of time still, even for application review! Don’t be discouraged!

@hexxcoat Since it is awarded to independent students or students with financial need based on a parents income, I don’t see why not. But just to make sure I would double check with the financial aid office tomorrow.

@lotbirds I actually did get the bird to Pamplin. Good luck tho, there’s still lots of time to get it

@futurehokiebrah what were your stats for getting into pamplin?

@collegebra i had a 4.0 first semster at NOVA and currently have all A’s this semster (although i never sent in midterm grades). My course load was a bit more than the recommended classes for Business IT.

Nice! I hope i get the bird this week i had a 3.7 last semester and sent in pretty good midterm grades

@collegebra good luck!!

when do you think it’s safe to say you’re getting denied?? It says everything was recieved on 1/29 but I haven’t heard anything at all… I had a 3.7 so I thought I’d be fine but now I’m not sure.

@rottenapples Decisions will still be made through May 1st, so you still have a lot of time and many people are in the same position as you are.

Interested in getting people’s thoughts on my chances of getting into Pamplin…I am a second semester freshman at Clemson in Travel and Event planning. I am hoping to transfer to Tech in the same major. First semester I had a 4.0 GPA but have not taken Calculus…just statistics. Stated on my application that I would take calculus in summer school. I will end the Freshman year with 42 credit hours based on AP and Clemson credits. Thought on my chances?

No bird yet.so I am getting nervous

@ClemTransfer I think you have a great chance of getting in. I am taking calc this semster, ending with a bit fewer credits (no AP credits) and I got the bird last week, I also applied to pamplin so I think you’ll be fine. Also had the same GPA.

I got my hokie bird on friday March 15th, still haven’t heard anything back though. I saw someone say to check every day because they received their acceptance on a monday but I was wondering do they always send out the decisions at close of business? Does anyone know ?
