<p>I almost finished my first year and kind of nervous because I have not done any substantial volunteer work as a premed student. Instead of going home for the summer, I decided to stay in Blacksburg. Any Hokie here could give me any advise about community service or meaningful volunteer work (that is not sitting on the computer and punch in numbers). Thanks. And would the career service be helpful for this kind of stuff?</p>
