Hello,
I’ve been accepted to Virginia Tech and RPI and will be getting a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering. I’m looking for some guidance as to which is the better choice for aerospace engineering, also considering that I want to go to graduate school after. I appreciate any help in advance.
You need to supply more information. What are the cost differences? How cold tolerant are you? How much do you want a “typical college experience” with athletics, etc.? What else is important to you?
Agreed we need more info very different schools , RPI is smaller , less rah rah sports wise , closer to a city ( if you count Albany as city) IF VT is in state you would save $$$. what have both offered merit aid wise?
RPI is very cold and does not really have town of any kind. VPI on the other hand has a lovely town, the best academics in the country, great dining, a beautiful campus, you name it they have it. I am pretty sure VPI has close to 100% job placement for aero and you’d make bank.
