Thanks for the posts everyone however I think you misunderstood what I said. I meant i applied as undecided to Syracuse however for some strange reason I was admitted into their Engineering school. I’m actually interested in Industrial Design however I was unable to prepare a proper portfolio for the deadline. I sent them an e-mail however they haven’t responded yet so I’ll probably call them soon.

bumpin’ up

VPI is the school where the students who can’t get into UVa attend. Remember that all dirt roads lead to Blacksburg, and the only racial diversity you will find there will be the athletes!

You’ve got to be kidding me DukeAlumnus! Or are you sleep deprived from fretting over the recent Blue Devil shellacking? Phreshness, VT’s Industrial Design program is one of the best in the country. So is its Engineering program. (Most consider it better than UVA’s and quite a few kids chose VT over UVA, many for engineering, but that talking point is for another thread…)

I know Syracuse has a great school of design, but I know it is expensive, too. It is tough to transfer into VT’s College of Architecture and Urban Studies, but if that is your ultimate goal, check into it. Good luck!

Thx Kand and everyone else who posted useful information so far more info would be muchappreciated
