So I am an international student with financial aid offered from my College. I am just wondering how the US embassy is going to view this. Do I need to show money to pay full tuition board and personal expenses regardless of my aid or do I show just the amount the College expects me to pay?

Any1 with any experience? How did the visa process go?

Thanks

No one has any opinion?
aww comon guys. :C

Your I-20 will state an estimated cost of attendance and a break-down of how you indicated to the college you would pay for those expenses. Whatever your I-20 states, that’s the amount of money you’ll need to document at your visa appointment.

I agree with b@rlum. I know students that went with full tuition ride and had no problem with visa. All you need to proof is the amount stated in your 1-20 and your willingness to return to home country. It is your duty to convince him that your stay in the US is for education. Show strong family ties to your home country.
