Just a word of advice, visit the campuses for spring break! it seems like a lot of you are asking questions on this forum (which is good, because you get answers directly from other students) but like, honestly, how would you really know what it was like if you didnt visit?
Find people you know in the campuses (trust me, i would love it if people from my h.s came to visit, because i would love to take a break from studying/classes to show the pride of the UCI campus). If you don't know any1, then sign up for a tour. i've been seeing a bunch of guides showing parents and students up and down everywhere. We've also been given notification to keep our dorms clean and tidy just for next week because alot of people will be visiting. It also decided the factor for me for UCSB vs. UCI, because i got to see both the campuses / dorms / people in person.
So take a vacation for your spring break, and visit the darn college campuses already geez :P

I'm going to the Explore UCI day in two weeks. I've been through the campus a couple times, but still want to check it out before I make my decision.

Yeah, I was thinking of either going down there next week over break or the explore UCI later on in April. Will you guys be back next week or still off on break? I'd kind of like to see the place full of people instead of empty. And I definitely want to see the clean (or not so clean) dorm rooms. What's the parking and biking situation like there?

They're on break this week, but will be back in school on the 2nd I think???

spring break isn't the best time to visit cause everyone's gone

just go to Explore UCI, they're gonna have campus and housing tours

We'll be back by April 2nd. I'm driving back down April 1st. A lot of high schooler's spring break is going to take place sometime in April and classes will be in session so come on over!
