Visit your schools!

Chicago is a really neat school for those who want to attend it. But to get the vibe of the school you have to visit.

It isn't for me. It was a great school and I really enjoyed visiting but I felt it lived up to its stereotype about "the fun" and the type of kids who attend.

Architecturally, very gothic and beautiful grounds. Really interesting.

I'm going to edit my negative comments and adhere to the rule that if you can't say anything positive, don't say it.

I live in Chicago. I've visited and walked around the campus many times, it's definitley gives off that "intellectual" vibe very well.

Voice your negative comments. They're just opinons, after all. I absolutely love Chicago, but no place is perfect. I think U of C can handle the criticism.

i'd like to hear any negatives. the fun thing is total bs, and the people here are all very cool and friendly.

it really depends on the definition of fun.

when compared to other schools I've visited the difference is extreme. so the fit isn't there for me. that's not to say it isn't a great school because it clearly is. My interview went great, went over time and I really enjoyed it.

But the school isn't for me. I go to a geeky nerdy hs and I'm tired of it. I don't need another 4 years. I'll take the party scene elsewhere.

Bring on the Risk, ladies and gentlemen. This school freaking rocks, I hope I get in.

Haha! Just come to Max Palevsky or walk down frat row on a Saturday night...at 4 in the morning. For a lot of people, fun definitely does NOT die here.
