Ive heard that Emory views the campus visit and very important part of the application. I'm planing on visiting but i was wondering whether it would make a difference if I visited after i submitted my application.

LuciousPie364,

It's not that Emory views the campus visit itself as being very important -- although it's probably important to you as an applicant -- but rather that you as an applicant demonstrate interest in attending Emory to the Admissions Office.

You can demonstrate interest in a number of ways: Visiting the campus and scheduling a tour through the Office of Admission (who will track this visit in their admissions database); establishing communications through correspondence, e-mail, and telephone contacts, especially with your regional representative; attending a regional or H.S. visitation by an Admissions Rep. to your local area; and/or ordering their online video. Any or all will suffice.
