I’m going! SO EXCITED
Where are you all going to be staying?

^^mmichaels

I don’t think there is one yet, but I’m sure there will be one after acceptances are released.

^swim

I’m not sure yet. I didn’t even think about that! When I visited Rice, they hosted us in their dorms, so hopefully Harvard does something similar.

I’ve heard in previous years students are hosted in dorms. =)

sweeeet:) even better.

I’m so excited for this! I can’t wait till the decisions come out and everyone else is on here. It’s going to be awesome!

Can any of you PM me what the likely letter says?

The letter doesn’t mention this weekend, but I’ll PM it to you. :)

jgedwards (or anybody that received likely letter), when do you receive it? was it sent via email or snail mail? I think prom might be a more “likely” scenario since I haven’t seen anything resembling a “likely” letter. :-)

Haha, nice play on words. I received mine back on February 16th. I got a call first, then a letter, and then an email from a current student. I believe all of the letters have been sent, but don’t worry about it. There are literally only two weeks left. I know I’m the last person to give advice on waiting for decisions, but be patient. It will pay off! God will come through for you, acceptance or not. Best of luck!

I don’t think I’ll be able to make it that weekend, unfortunately… I’ll probably end up visiting the following weekend, so I can still get a feel for the college.

Similar to jgedwards, I got a call (during the school day) and then got a letter in the mail later that week. Good luck to all of you come April 1st.

I can’t believe it; tomorrow is the last day of finals for this trimester, and then I become a third trimester senior. Today a teacher referred to me as a “Senior” - somehow, and in some obscure way, it sure doesn’t feel like that! Our school has already started the official senior countdown clock in the hallway.

It’s TWO WEEKS until decisions - what the last four years of our lives have come to! I’m so grateful for my countless blessings, especially these four years of high school. I’m blessed with my experiences, opportunities, recommendation letter and having the rest of you on CC to use as a resource. At this point, it’s faith and what is finally revealed on the 30th.

You all must promise me that you’ll PM me your Facebook page once we’ve been accepted, so we can get on the ORIGINAL Facebook network :p:)!

jgedwards11–> you received a likely from harvard?

Thats amazing! Congratulations… Aren’t those extremely rare?
Was it through athletics?

Evert school’s “weekend” conflicts with the Coca Cola Scholars weekend! Bummer.

I meant “Every” :)

^dbarcia

Yes, I did. And thanks! I received a non-athletic likely letter, so it was based off of my application. There are actually about 10 more people on college confidential who received a non-athletic likely letter. I definitely feel blessed.

I bow down to you.
Would it be possible for me to peek at the letter? PM?

Haha, no need to bow down. But sure, I’ll send the letter no problem. :)

Damn pretty awesome :)

Got early acceptances from stanford, upenn, dartmouth, cornell, duke, and emory

…no harvard obviously : /

Wow, those are all really great schools! I’m sure you’ll get accepted to Harvard. I’ll be praying for you. If you do get in, is it your top choice?

Yeah no doubt
