does anyone know whether harvard takes attendance when you go for an information session and/or tour? In other words, will there be any record of you going so that you can show interest?

When I went on college tours, I remember all the super-competitive schools said that you could fill out a card to get the view book and other information in the mail, but they do not keep track of interest.

^ Harvard knows that they are the first-choice for a huge majority of their applicants. It's almost everybody's quintessential "dream school." Therefore, they don't need to care about demonstrated interest haha

Do fill out a card, although I don't think it will matter much. Harvard does indeed care about demonstrated interest, but to what extent, I do not know. I know for sure, though, that anytime someone corresponds with the admissions office (either through e-mail, or postal mail, or whatever) they make a file for you and place it in the file. Yes, even eighth graders writing letters asking how they could get into Harvard receive get a file.

hmm im not visting campus..
