For large classes, it won’t be a problem at all to just sit in on the class. For smaller classes, I’d probably just introduce myself to the professor and let them know you’ll be there. </p>
<p>When I visited one college (not Hopkins) and sat in on a french class, the professors actually involved the three prospective students (in a class of 15ish) in the discussion, asking us questions and having us take part in the group activities, which I thought was really coool.</p>
