Visiting Colleges...

My spring break is this week and next, and next week we're planning on going out east (I live in SoCal) to visit colleges. We're going to be seeing Harvard, Brandeis, Yale, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, Swarthmore, Amherst, Columbia, and Georgetown.

It's probably pretty obvious that I have no idea what kind of college I want to go to yet, but this is going to be the only "east" visit I can pull off. I can check out the UCs, Pomona, Stanford, etc. without problem, but I'm going to have to use the ones I see to imagine the ones I don't (Duke, Williams, UPenn, etc.).

Anyway, I'm going to be taking the campus tours, sitting in on the info sessions, and watching a class wherever I can. Is there anything specific I should be looking for? I have about half a day at each college (otherwise I wouldn't be able to fit them all in, unfortunately).

What do you suggest I do to make the most out of these visits?

Aside from just bumping, I was told that one good thing to pick up at each college is a copy of their student newspaper, to see what the general environment is like. It's just little things like that that I normally wouldn't have thought of that help. =)
