Visiting Dartmouth

im visiting dartmouth "officially" in january but applying this year. can i say that i took a tour and info session because by the time my app is read i will have visited..

also i have been to campus before but, stupidly, didn't take a tour

Dartmouth does not count demonstrated interest, so it does not matter if you took the tour or attended an information session. Your “official” visit will not factor in an admissions decision. If you are going to be in Hanover in January, by all means visit. Otherwise, wait until you are accepted and visit during Dimensions.

Taking a tour and learning more about a school can certainly help you with writing your essays.

Considering the fact that there is not a 'Why Dartmouth" essay and they do not consider demonstrated interest, there is nothing that a visit can do to add to the Op’s application
