visiting duke

i am thinking of possibly coming to visit duke during spring break. the thing is, my parents are both busy, so i'll have to come by myself. is there a way to go directly from the airport to the campus and vice versa? (bus, taxi, etc) thanks.

I'm going to be hitting up Duke this spring break as well.....do you think it would be appropriate to hit up the admissions office and ask if I can pick up my acceptance packet now so they can save on the cost of postage? I think it's a brilliant plan ;).

haha, anyway, realistically, what do you think I should do while on campus? Is it possible to actually stay with an undergrad while on campus or would this just be really bothersome/awkward as it's not an "admit weekend" setting? I've never stayed overnight so I don't really know.......

And any suggestions about sitting in on a class or setting up meetings with professors?

talk to admissions, multiple pfrosh have stayed with hosts on my floor this year at least...

Once you have been admitted you will be invited to "Blue Devil Days" where you will be hosted by a student. It is a worthwhile visit. There are special sessions for both parents and students, you can go to some classes and you will be staying in a dorm meeting both present and prospective students. I would recommend waiting for these events.
