visiting for accepted students

Would accepted students get a better feel for Lafayette at the Accepted Student day on 4/13 or the "Fridays at Lafayette? My D wasn't able to attend the Marquis Scholars Day last week as we were not given enough notice to take off from work so we would like to bring her as she is deciding between lafayette and another school. Thanks

Since there is a set agenda/panels/tours that accepted students and their parents may be interested in on 4/13, I would think it would be beneficial to attend on that day. D2 and her dad will plan to be there. They are visiting 3 colleges over 4 days.

archermom & purplegirl,

Accepted students would get an infinitely better "feel" for the campus when classes are in session. Not to mention accepted students should probably make very effort to attend a class of interest. Also, consider how many accepted students will be on campus on 4/13 versus one of three Fridays in April. On a day when less students visit, you will certainly benefit from more personal contacts with professors and admissions people.

Fridays at Lafayette also offer set admissions panels and tours (Fridays at Lafayette). If at all possible, I would visit on one of the Fridays (4/11, 4/18, 4/25), if only to get a more accurate sense of daily life on campus.
