Hi there. I live in California and WVU is my top school choice. I want to come visit it and my parents said they would allow me to fly out by myself from 11/11-11/15. However, the biggest problem is that I am only 17 years old and unable to rent a hotel room without my parents. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get around this? I would love to come see the campus in person to decide if it’s right for me. I tried asking an admissions counselor however they told me that there were no programs in place to help me out, but she did not mention any other suggestions. I thought that they would possibly be able to have me room in a dorm for the few days I was there. If anyone has any ideas please let me know! I need to find out ASAP if I have a place to stay so I can start getting ready and booking tickets.
