yeah my friends have them
the "god said (insert maxwell's equations) and there was light"
and the the pi shirts
a lot of the times they only have xlarge for some of the cooler shirts though

yeah the jinxing thing, my friend said that too!! she is applying to MIT this year too!

I'll see if there is anything i like, i already have 4 robotics t-shirts, 2 google shirts and several other math/science clothes, and a couple my hs school shirts. I think i need to get more normal clothes >.<

i didn't go as an official visit, but i went to the harvard national debate tournament this year, and our hotel was the marriot at MIT/Kendall. I had always felt that MIT was a school of interest to me, and one day I walked across the street and took a (i guess it was trespassing, but i'm sure they don't mind) walk through the building that houses admissions etc, and i instantly was like wow i want to go here. there were kids riding unicycles through the hallway and juggling and stuff, and there were all these posters for clubs that i thought were awesome, all these research posters, and when you come out the other end, there's a coop type place with a dunkin donuts, a burrito place, and a drugstore that sells 1.99 big bowl ramen. it was heaven-or to put it in MIT speak I was like "ihtfp" (in all the positive senses). I'll prbly go up there this summer again to visit a professor or something-any suggestions on how to arrange that?

Keep an open mind on your visit to MIT

Some are put off by the buildings and others instantly like the campus

I really liked the campus but every campus that I have been to has been appealing in some aspect.

Haha, that's not trespassing -- campus isn't restricted to students and employees. :)

i thought i saw a sign about trespassing...but good to know lol
