Visiting ND As A Potential Transfer

Hey guys,

I posted around a month ago as a prospective transfer student from Lafayette College, and at this point I'm pretty positive I'm going to apply for this coming fall.

I went and visited ND last year but only walked around campus for a few hours (it happened to be graduation day that day). I really liked what I saw, but I wish now that I would've stayed overnight.

I want to do things the right way this time, and I'd really like to fly out to ND one weekend before the end of this semester and stay on campus for a night or two, to really get the feel of the place. After looking on the ND website, it seems as though you can only be an admitted high school senior in order to be able to go through the "official" channels and set up an overnight visit.

Is there any way I can make an overnight happen for myself? This is really important to me...I really want to get on campus and get a feel for things and meet some potential classmates and friends. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might get this to happen?

Thanks a lot!

Try calling the admissions office and explain your situation--sometimes w/websites you have to keep digging to find info. I would think that admissions could let you know up front if people do this type of thing. Good Luck!
