I'm taking my tour of Duke next month with my family. Does anyone have any tips on what to do while I'm there? Good restaurants or fun activites? Thanks in advance :)

A search for terms including visit and tour will provide a cornucopia for worthwhile recommendations. Perhaps you’d want to try this first, before requesting additional information? Enjoy your time on campus.

We are touring next month as well. We made a reservation at the Duke Lemur Center. Not sure how it is but if you need something to do it might be worth a look.

I remember my first Duke tour. Although I made the visit after being accepted, it definitely helped me decide to commit to Duke.

Start at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. They have helpful guides, brochures, and maps that may give good recommendations.

Personally, I loved the Chapel (go inside), Ninth St., Cameron stadium, East Campus (where all freshman live), and Duke Gardens (parents absolutely love this).

Lol I’m a rising senior and still haven’t been to the Lemur Center yet. Go to the places in Durham for food: Dame’s chicken and waffles, Monuts, plus countless other good eateries. Tour West campus and East campus and their surroundings. Tour the Nasher. Tour K-Ville. It’s not hard to find the main attractions.

@Phillyy15 : don’t forget a visit to the Duck shop (on 9th st)!
