A question that I have not seen asked or answered her:

Can students who find out that they have been accepted into Tisch drama programs (CAP21 and others) actually visit/sit in on classes, etc.?

I know that MYU/Tisch doesn’t routinely allow prospective students (who have not been admitted) to watch acting classes and so on, but how about those they have accepted and are making up their minds?

NMR

NMR - it is my understanding that even those already admitted into the program are not allowed to actually sit in on classes unless something has changed. If you do find out otherwise, please post that on this forum, because I think a lot of people would love to know that :).

NMR, if you know a current student, it is almost always possible for that student to get pre-approval for a visiting student to sit in on a couple of classes. I know my D hosted several prospective students to her studio classes in her years at Tisch. While it's true that it is not usually possible to arrange through NYU to visit a studio class, I'm not sure what the situation is for accepted students, other than the Saturday/Sunday in the Square events. Give a call to Chris Andersson at 212-998-1873 or Garrett Eisler at 212-998-1838. One of them should be able to answer your question.
