Visiting on Good Friday?

I'm going to be touring various colleges in Massachusetts for a week over spring break, and I'm planning on visiting Wellesley on a Friday. My mom just pointed out that it's Good Friday. Wellesley's website doesn't have anything saying that they're closed on that day, but, then again, they don't have their detailed calendar out for April yet.

Does anyone know if Wellesley's admissions office closes on Good Friday, like some other (non-religious) schools do? Will I be able to have my interview/tour/info session?

Any info anyone could offer would be appreciated. Thanks!

Good Friday isn't observed at Wellesley in terms of canceling classes and giving folks the day off. It's a pretty ordinary day as far as business as usual goes. I'd double check the times when it comes closer to your visit just because, but planning Friday around Wellesley is a safe bet.

For those of you doing something similar in November, Wellesley students don't get Veterans' Day off either.

Thanks, WendyMouse. I didn't think it would be an issue at all, but I had to get some kind of confirmation just to placate my mom. Thank you again!

Awww darn. :(

We just started classes this week so I doubt they would cancel class already. :]

You get President's Day off on Monday the 16th.
