<p>I am visiting Wednesday, April 25th. Any pointers or suggestions to get the most out of my Penn State experience?</p>

<p>Be sure and soak up the atmosphere: eat one of the Dining Commons, walk thru a classroom building (if the tour guide doesn't take you into one), sit in the academic quad and listen to what the students are talking about. Definately go to the Creamery! :D</p>
<p>That was the best experience of my life, everyone is so happy there it's truely unbelievable. The second I arrived, I knew I wanted to attend.</p>
<p>I visited on Feb. 13, and I could say the same. My cousin drove, and we were trying to find Lot 44 to park, but we got lost somewhere in Pollock. Driving through there felt like this was the school for me; I didn't even step out of the car yet! I'm glad you loved it too yanksman25.</p>

<p>Definitely my first choice college.</p>
<p>I have to admit, out of all the colleges I've seen so far, Penn State has the best campus. There's a lot of open space, the buidings are new, and its not as rural as you might think. It is definately a lively college town and with a beautiful campus.</p>
<p>What I really loved was how much pride everyone had. I swear when I got there, I saw at least 8/10 kids wearing Penn St. shirts, hats, sweatshirts or whatever. The aura was amazing.</p>
<p>It's the law, you have to wear Penn State tshirts on campus.</p>
<p>The bookstore in the HUB has great clothes but it is pricey. Our favorite store for $7.99 tshirts is Family Clothesline near the corner of College and Shortlidge (near McClanahans).</p>
<p>Yeah and during fall season if you walk around campus, especially downtown on college avenue, you'll hear people saying "WE ARE.......PENN STATE" all the time.</p>
<p>It gets louder at night when everyone's drunk.</p>
<p>It was totally sweet, I loved it.</p>
<p>Family Clothesline outlet is the place for cheap clothes ;). Yanks are you a junior or sen. coming here next year?</p>
<p>I'll be a senior next year, but I'll probably be there for class of 2012.</p>
