So I'm going to be in Boston, visiting MIT and the likes, thursday, friday, and saturday. I'll do the campus tour and whatnot, hang out in Boston, do some shopping, whatever. I'd like to see a bio or genetics class. If that doesn't happen, can anyone suggest something I should see/do? Also, is there anything "fun" going on anyone one of those days/nights? I want to have a good time and get a feel for the place.

Ok. A reply or PM would be greatly appreciated.

cornerstones, that weekend will be CPW, Campus Preview Weekend for admitted students. Some CPW activities may not be available to non-admitted students: you may want to contact Admissions before you arrive and find out what's available for visitors who aren't there as part of CPW. Have a good visit.

Genetics is only offered in the fall. I'd personally recommend either 7.05 or 7.06, but if you want to meet meeee you can come to 7.28. :) The third number I wrote is the room number that the class is in; you can decode those at the campus map.

Thanks everyone - I'm checking out that website now and looking at the class options. I also didn't realize that this weekend is CPW - I'm actually a junior now, just really interested in MIT. So, hopefully that won't complicate things.

I imagine there will be plenty of things cornerstone will be able to participate in at CPW. I doubt they're going to be checking a guest list at the start of each event.

Yeah, I would definitely go to all the fairs held in the athletics center- that's where everyone on campus tries to convince admitted students to join their team/club/major. That part obviously won't apply to you, but you can definitely get lots of great information out of it.
