Visiting schools in April (after they send out notifications)?

There is one school I am waiting for that sends out notifications on April 1st. I think that really sucks, since that is the week right after spring break, so I don't have time to visit during that April since it's right before AP testing. I also don't know if I will be accepted since my scores are a little under par for the school, so I don't want to visit if I'm just going to be denied since it's a couple of hours away.

It will be my first choice though, if I am accepted, and can afford it.

How did you guys visit your schools, if you did at all?

The first AP tests are not scheduled until May 7. You should be able to fit in an April weekend visit if you are accepted.

If it’s just a couple of hours away, you can do a visit in a day easy. Do not enroll in a college without visiting.

At least do a one day visit, even if it means waking up at dawn and driving home at midnight. It’ll be well worth it. You can study for AP tests during the drive.

I agree. You’re close enough to visit and you should do it, either before or after you know.
