Visiting Smith and Wellesley

Hey all, I have a dilemma:

I want to visit both Smith and Wellesley next weekend, since both of them are having open houses on Saturday. My plan was to get in the car around 4:30AM, drive to Northampton to get there around 8, spend some time walking around before heading over to the "Simply Smith" open house around 9. Leave smith around noon, and head over to Wellesley, and spend the rest of the day there (should get there by 2). What do you guys think? Is it doable, or should i just pick one of them to go to and then visit the other later?

I would do one day each to get the full flavor of each school before you made your decision.

Thats what I was thinking too, but it seems that neither one will have tours for juniors until the fall, so this is the last chance to visit before then. Gr.... any other opinions? If i'm only going to one, which one should I go to?

If you live local you should stay the night. It makes it easier to write Why Wellesley and Why Smith essay. For these LACs they do track interest.

in my opinion, visiting two colleges in one day is miserable. fall of my jr year i went to go see lafayette and lehigh in the same day and it felt too rushed. everything jumbled together and i didnt have the opprotunity to take in each college seperately and mull them over. wound up not applying to lafayette and turning down lehigh.

Hmm. So I guess I'll just have to pick one. The only problem is, they're practically equal on my list (my 2nd choices). I don't know which one to go to!! Do you guys have any suggestions? Its a first OOS college visit for me and the 'rents, so which college do you think will be better to bring them to first?
