<p>Anybody got any recommendations on places to stay while visiting UMD.
I know hotels on RT1 by UMD are just so so (Hampton Inn may be ok).
Looking to stay a little North of the school away from DC (traffic and prices).</p>

<p>We're planning to stay at The Hampton Inn. We've always had good experiences at other Hampton Inns... plus they have a guarantee. My fingers are crossed, hoping for the best.</p>

<p>I've also stayed at the College Park Hampton Inn and had a good experience there. Oddly enough, my daughter and I were staying there to visit American U, not UMD. But the Hampton Inn was a pleasant stay, in addition to being convenient to DC. If D2 should become interested in UMD, I'll probably stay at the Hampton Inn again.</p>

We were going to look at American U as well, but have decided against it.
My D wants Biology/Life Sciences and AU doesn't work. Looks like we will be overnighting up at UD instead.</p>
