Does upenn take interest into account. Daughter is a junior and we're planning to visit in April. She wants to take few classes in Wharton while we visit. Do they take that into consideration during application process or like all Ivies they don't track interest?

According to their common data set, level of interest is “considered” on a scale of very important / important / considered / not considered. Personally I don’t think it’ll make so much of a difference; when it comes to Ivies, everyone has interest. But it definitely can’t hurt to take classes in Wharton if possible. If she genuinely has interest, she’ll get a lot out of it.

It won’t increase her chances of getting admitted, but it’ll help your daughter see if Penn-Wharton is a good fit and let her experience the college environment.
