Visiting

I know it is a little late for me to visit Kings Point, but I wanted to really nail that appointment first (which I did). I'm going there on March 23. So far I hear a lot a good things about that school.--Marcelo

Good idea - go and do an overnight, visit classes and meet people. You will get a good feel for the school. It is much smaller than Annapolis or WP. Lots of good folks there, working their rear ends off. Everyone will complain about being there, but will be equally proud.
Best wishes and good luck! Hope to see you report in July!

A visit is a must. Overnight even better. Let the admissions office know your interests, do you plan to play a sport, be in the band, or any waterfront activities? They will match you up with some plebes that are in that activity. You might hear some complaints, it is a military academy after all, not Party "U".

Its not too late at all. When my son went up his first time as a Junior on March 17, 2004, two of the folks who came up at the same time were seniors with appointments trying to make a decision.

Marcelo,

Have a great day today and let us know what you think.

I'm dying to know how Hannah's visit went! Hope she loved it! Even though I'm sure she'll see a MID or two stressed out with exam time here. I'll be feeding my Plebe a HUGE steak this time next week. Happy, happy, happy.
