<p>Hi guys.. I'm not a student, just a parent. I thought instead of lurking, I'd say 'hi.' Just stopped in to see what was being posted at Deep Springs. I read about the college, first through Princeton Review's Best College Guide, and was really intrigued. Then after that, wasn't there a big spread in the NY Times Magazine last year on Deep Springs? Sounds like an incredible experience. Also sounds like a fairly rigorous acceptance process. Congratulations to those of you who have been accepted, and my best to all of you.</p>

<p>My son who is almost 14 read his big sister's guidebook and went straight to Deep Springs. </p>
<p>I am curious how a somewhat ADD-ish yet very deep thinking, smart, loveable, cool, athletic kid would fit?</p>
<p>Sounds like their type. They write in lots of places that they love thoughtful, smart, loveable, cool, modest people.</p>
