Visits/Camps

I was wondering, after the coaches have told you that they liked your tape and they are interested. Is it necessary to go on an unoffical so you can get to know them, vice versa?

Or is the next step just showing up at the camp in the summer? Will they remember you or that they liked your film?

Do Ivy's make a lot of calls in this evaluation period, I know some top liberal art colleges do a decent amount of calling.

If the Ivy coaches like your films and invited you to camp… they will be on the lookout for you when you arrive. They will also keep you in the loop with their constant email corrrespondence. Ivy football coaches can call once between 4/15 and 5/31…and once a week after 9/1.

D-III football coaches can call any time, as often as they wish. If you can fit a campus visit into your schedule before camp… and you would like to visit campus, take a guided tour and attend an AdCom info session… try to coordinate the visit with an appointment with your recruiter or head coach to gain some one-on-one exposure/talk nuts and bolts- but it is not necessary.
