Visual and Performing Arts Analysis GE

Which one did you take? Can you recommend some easy ones?
Has to be approved for Engineering (must be 5 units, that's all).

arts encounters 10 (also known as arts and architecture) in the fall with prof winter.

Music 15 w/ Rutenberg. Easiest class you will ever take at UCLA, hands down. 65% of the class got an A+.

^^^ yup music 15 and aa10 are the best options. you cant go wrong with either ones. the classic easy art ge's.

Music hist. 5: history of rock and roll (Eidsheim). You could raise your grade by up to 8% just by doing the extra credit.

^^^ opportunities to raise your grade 20% in aa10 last q (from C->A or 6 grade bumps).

this is unfathomable. desma10 also if you can't get into neither. but compared to those two, desma is quite a bit harder.

yea last Q in AA 10 this is what happened:

-gave everyone a free-grade bump (eg B to B+) because he cussed on stage and was impressed with our work on some little 5 min assignment
-gave another bump if your assignment above was one of the highest ranked (you vote online and can create endless accounts to vote)
-if you do a week 9,10 performance on stage, another bump
-every time during lecture he asks for people to go on stage and you write your name down after...each time is 1/5 of a grade bump
-also if you ask the week 9,10 performers questions on stage you get EC (not sure if its 1/5 bump or full)
-a lot more random stuff
-my TA (she only apparently) offered extra credit for the participation grade too

i got the free bump and i got the high rank bump. ez A+

I second AA10 with professor Winter. Not only was it easy, it was also really fun! I enjoyed doing the "What Would You Do" photo project, and the group performance thing was fun, too. I always looked forward to going to that class (but, I am also in love with classical music, so that helps).
