<p>All right, so I want to submit a studio art supplement, and I'm really second-guessing. Obviously I know I can't straight-up submit a picture of the Mona Lisa and say it's mine. But say I took the Mona Lisa and reproduced it in a painting of my own. Can I submit this to colleges, or is it still plagiarism?</p>
<p>Basically, am I allowed to submit work for which I used reference photos that were not mine?</p>
