I want 100% of the Sentence Completions. Will Direct Hits alone suffice?

I did direct hits and RR words and missed one sentence completion (I think - based on reading the discussion thread).
So nope.
Maybe get [Amazon.com: 1100 Words You Need to Know (9780764138645): Murray Bromberg, Melvin Gordon: Books](http://amzn.to/jSLIhN), it’s pretty good (though I didn’t have time to use it).

Nothing will guarantee 100% success. Using DH is helpful for some, but it is not a panacea.

So then where should I go after that. 800 in CR can’t be just based on getting lucky words right?

No list can guarantee anything. I’ve never gotten a sentence completion wrong, using only Direct Hits. There have been words that I haven’t known, but never enough in one question. It depends on how wide your vocabulary is otherwise, though.

Well, unfortunately, my vocabulary is not that big. Should I just read random, “high-level” books or is there a list that can help me?

Reading doesn’t really help unless done over a long period of time. Master Direct Hits before anything. Any list can help you, but you may wind up memorizing a bunch of words that won’t help. I don’t know–I only used Direct Hits–but I’d say shy away from very large lists, at least.
