<p>The offices at CIM are closed and don’t open again until Monday, the 6th. If anyone is working from home, you may hear before that, but also know that the area is expecting a big snowstorm Sunday thru Tuesday and record cold, so things may be backed up even longer.</p>

<p>Update- CIM and their offices is also closed, Tuesday, January 7th, due to extreme weather conditions. This is pretty much the case with all schools located in Michigan, Minnesota,Illinois, Indiana and Ohio; looks like the NY, PA, CT and Massachusetts schools will be following suit so those waiting for notifications will have to be patient a bit longer. Thanks!</p>

<p>Once again, I ask that those of you posting notifications just list the school, date, method of notice and I will then make the Master List from those. If each person does it themselves, the additions are ending up with stars after them, which makes it look as though certain people are highlighted- which is NOT the case here- and the thread gets overlong. I do get the updates regularly, so be assured that things will be posted at LEAST ONCE daily, and more often if the weather doesn’t take down our Internet!

<p>Hi,I applied for undergraduate voice to lots of schools and am still anxiously still waiting for my results from CMU, Peabody, Oberlin and Juilliard.
i got results from MSM (12/21/13), NEC (12/20/13) and Indiana (12/11/13), passing all the pre-screen rounds, but I was also declined from Eastman (1/5/14).
I’m wondering if anyone applied to RAM or RCM in London, and if you know how competitive it is to get in compared to schools in the US? Thanks!</p>

<p>My student was accepted for undergrad Eastman vocal performance audition. I called yesterday to ask what day the info would be sent. They said they had emailed twice but he finally received it after I called.</p>

<p>The updated list. Regarding the UK schools, admission is as competitive as the top US schools, if not more so because in Europe, youngsters take solfege and music theory from the age of 8, while in this country continue to tolerate cuts to music programs. Those schools are also on a different schedule than here, so you have to co-ordinate carefully. If the interest is there, better to look toward grad school but save up since financial aid is virtually non-existent for US students.</p>

<p>New as well. Very happy that my daughter is getting a good number of auditions, but wondering how we’re going to pull it all off, financially as well as logistically. Was actually relieved to get a couple of no’s, as it is narrowing the field for her.</p>
