<p>My daughter is interested in both opera and musical theater. She is a good, but not great student with a good deal of talent as a singer. She is not sure which way she wants to go, yet. We are also not sure which way her voice will lead her. Any recommendations for schools? We live near Oberlin College in Ohio which is a superb Opera school, but very expensive.</p>
<p>In Ohio Wright State U has a great musical theater program. Students will also frequently join the Dayton Opera chorus for experience. I would ask this question in the musical theater major forum (link at the bottom of the main page).</p>
