I called the lady who sent the confirmation emails and she said that there would be someone at the airport to pick us up and bring us to tufts

@4205145: For everyone, or just for people who are getting in the night before?
And where would you meet him/her? :/

^I’m not entirely sure, I’m coming from the nashville area and she told me that there were a couple of other people coming from nashville too. When I asked her if we would have to find our own way to tufts, she just said that someone would already be there to pick us up but I’m not sure if there’s a different person waiting for each voice’s participant coming at different times or if that one person brings all of us there. I do know that my flight arrives on the morning of.

@4205145 : What time is your flight scheduled to arrive at Boston Airport?

it arrives there at 11:55 am

So far seems like I’m the only one who will arrive there on Wednesday night, ain’t I?

^^ No you won’t. There are a bunch of you. I mean, not as many as are coming on Thursday, but you’ll be far from lonely.

Dan will there be someone from Tufts there to meet us when our flight lands? (I arrive at 12:30 on Thursday) or do we find our way to the university campus ourselves?

Thanks Dan for making me feel less nervous.
I’m back to my “so excited can’t wait anymore” mood now (:
And I was just told that there will be someone picking us up at the airport on Wednesday night as well. Yay for Tufts Admission office :D

We pick you up - there will be van’s circling at Logan when you land, and there’s an admissions officer in each van who has your cell phone and can call you. Often, they snag you at baggage claim as you wait for your stuff to come off the plane. Worst case, you chill for a few minutes and wait for them to circle around. There are 5 terminals here, each with their own pickup/dropoff point, so it gets complicated for us, but it’s pretty simple for you.

And, when seriously in doubt, call our office or send an email.

Can we use the vans even if we didn’t request a travel grant? Because I suppose they won’t know what time my plane’s landing…

^^^ That’s an important clarification. My post above assumes that you’ve worked with us to get your tickets to come. Otherwise, you should check with our office to see about the vans - and I don’t know what the answer would be for you, Profrogue.

Packing my stuffs now. Having some small problem with check-in online but overall so excited for the trip tomorrow ^^
Hopefully my first time flying somewhere far away by myself is going to be interesting (:

Just spelled “ever” wrong. Even if it was intentional, this student should not be admitted to Tufts. uses chalk to make a streak across the chalkboard ADMISSION DENIED.
