sorry i know this has nothing to do with the purpose of this forum but i cant find a forum that would address my issue and since i know prep school offer volleyball some of you might be able to give me advice. soooo..im doing a volleyball camp soon and i have never done it before. im doing volleyball at andover this coming year so this vb camp is some prep for it..and i dont know whether or not i should get long socks or short socks. i know this question seems kind of ridiculous but i dont know? ackk i feel stupid but answer if you can give me some advice. :)

Send a PM to saer. She’s a big VB player at Choate.

okay. im just putting it out here because saer isnt on all the time.

I’m on my high school volleyball team, and honestly it doesn’t matter. Most kids that play wear the same socks they normally would. I would suggest knee or elbow pads if it is indoors, because I have a number of scars from diving.

My friend is a volleyball player and she wears crew socks which are about midleg; however, I also know people who where knee-high, so maybe you could buy both.

ok thx. 10char

is it ok to wear no show socks?

Actually, I’ve never seen a volleyball player wear no show socks (ok maybe a couple), but I generally I think you can see their socks.

Try going into the Andover website and finding the online archives of The Phillipian (newspaper) and go to the fall season where there is girls volleyball and look at the pictures of what the girls are wearing.

get kneepads

yea i got kneepads already they were required. and i got the knee high socks. so im good to go
