"Voluntary Quiz Section"

<p>What's the difference between a "voluntary quiz section" and a normal quiz section? I am hoping to have a M & W only schedule next quarter so my schooling won't interfere with my work schedule, and I saw that I BUS 300 has a "voluntary quiz section" on Fridays. I am wondering if it is necessary for me to sign up for that quiz section or not, since it's voluntary.</p>

<p>I don’t know anything about your specific class, but I’m guessing it’s an office-hours type quiz section, where you go to get help. To me, it looks like you won’t be required to sign up for one, because there are 125 seats in the class but only 100 quiz section seats.</p>
