Volunteer Activities vs. Work

I'm considering to transfer to a different university after my sophomore year in my university.

I know that many universities require submitting volunteer work/ extracurricular activities/ work experience/ etc. in a resume or list as part of the application.

As for me, I don't really have too much volunteer work and held no leadership position in any club I was in from 9th grade to my freshman year in college.

But I did have the same weekend/summer break job since the 9th grade.

Would universities favor more volunteer or leadership experience than work experience for transfer students?

Or is most of it weighted on GPA?
