Volunteer hours usually needed for college

<p>I'm just wondering, how much community service hours should you at least get to make sure you get enough so that the college is impressed. So far I have around 50 community service (as a freshman, sophmore next year). I'm working in the library right now for some community service hours, so I was wondering when should I stop.</p>

<p>For most colleges, zero hours is enough.</p>

<p>For the most selective colleges, hours matter, but commitment, motivation, and purpose matter more.</p>
