I have acquired a very large amount of volunteer and community service hours, and I have concerns pertaining to documentation. I created a spread sheet with the name of the organization, start time, end time, breaks, and a slot for the signature of the leader, and I was wondering if there was any further action I needed to take. I have read where some students had to get it notarized and/or a letter from each individual organization. It is the summer of my seniors year, so I need to get these things cleared up soon!
You’ve done more than most people. If you are asking for college application purposes, documentation will not be required initially. On the off-chance that you are asked for documentation, what you have is fine; if a college requires something in addition, they will tell you. I would not spin my wheels beforehand doing anything differently.
