<p>I was wondering whether people actually report volunteer hours to colleges when they apply, and if so, how? I've done a lot of community service but they're all recorded on different forms, so they're kind of scattered, because I never really thought I would need to collect them all for college apps...Is there like a section on your college app where you write total number of hours volunteered or something?</p>
<p>For my high school, we can put it onto our transcript.</p>

<p>Sorry, my high school does the same thing as Goodbyehello’s. I’m pretty sure, though, that in college apps they ask you to list the places you did community service and the number of hours you spent for each one, so that might be enough. Maybe check with your guidance counselor?</p>
