I live in Orlando Florida, and I am looking for opportunities that I can volunteer or work at a clinic or hospital. Can you guys give me some ideas that can help me find the opportunities to work at clinic or hospital?</p>

<p>Have you tried calling a hospital in your area? The hospitals in my area have a volunteer phone number that you call and sign up for an orientation session. Once you attend the session, if you're still interested, they'll assign you a position. Usually they ask for a 1 year, one shift per week, commitment.</p>
<p>I typed a "resume" that briefly detailed my interest in medicine, academic strengths, and character traits. My dad passed this along to a doctor he knew, who had offered to circulate it around the hospital where he works. A few weeks later, I was offered a part-time job as a medical records clerk. It doesn't involve much interaction with the patients, but I've learned a lot about the medical field.</p>
