I don't know how this happened but in my activities I forgot to put down that I had 32 hours of volunteer work hours for Habitat for Humanity, being that other than that I only have 16 hours with the Salvation Army, I feel like it's very bad that I forgot to state this. Opinions?
And it's of course too late, and pointless to email admissions about such a small detail I suppose?

Go ahead and email them with the info about the 32 hours of HFH work. Just send the email and stop worrying about it. You will be fine.

Okay thank you. Being that i’ll already be sending them an email with an additional essay to be reviewed (admissions instructed me to do so), should I simply add in this info with my essay, or should I send a seperate email with this info? I’m just asking cause I don’t want anything to be confusing to them.

Word glido

Send it in the same email.

It’s extremely trivial and insignificant. I’d let it pass.

Do you see this happening? “Hmmm… Nina is on the fence with me. Oh wait. Here’s an update. She has 132 volunteer hours and not 100. I guess I’ll vote YES after all.”

I know that it probably wouldn’t make a difference if they’re already planning on rejecting me, but I figure that it could play a part being that i’m applying to some schools that REALLY like seeing volunteer work on applications. I guess that in all cases, it just couldn’t hurt me to make sure it’s on my file. I already emailed a couple and they told me they added it to me file.
