<p>The hospital volunteer programs in my area are extremely competitive and they only accept 4 volunteers each year and you have to be on waitling list through high school so it's like impossible. I was wondering though has anyone volunteered at a doctor's office maybe, like a pediatrican office or something. I was going to contact maybe a doctor instead but I don't know if that's even possible, I probably need connections huh?</p>

<p>i have a friend who volunteered since he was freshman till senior. he did about 4 times a week. that's Thousands of hours. too bad he didn't pursue the medical field, that would've been an outstanding EC.</p>
