random question, but what would look better on a college application: working at a certain place for four years straight or volunteering at a certain place four years straight?
<p>I think the obvious answer is that it depends on the involvement level.</p>
<p>Umm.. either one... Both show an immense amount of dedication. Some people have to work throughout high school to support their families and are still able to have stellar grades. Other students don't have the same financial hardship but still decide to dedicate their time to a certain cause for four years. Either of those could look even better if you take a leadership role, taking on more responsibility either at work or at a volunteer job.</p>
