<p>This is probably hard for many people, because most do not have that distinct a list, from talking to people, they tend to be grouped in terms of "extremely interested", "would certainly be happy going there", "why did I even bother sending an app in?", etc. With the possible except of having one definite first choice.
Also, opinions of schools often change over time. What was your first choice when you applied, may not have been your ultimate first choice, even if you got in. Some people, when the actual decision comes, research more closely than they had before, and discover they like one school over another.</p>
