<p>FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Jon Morris, a 1964 Holy Cross graduate, is one of three finalists to be inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame in 2009. </p>
<p>Morris played for the Patriots for 11 seasons, appearing in 130 games from 1964-1974. He earned seven consecutive American Football League All-Star appearances from 1964-1970, and his seven league All-Star selections rank second in Patriots history behind Pro Football Hall of Famer John Hannah (nine). Morris anchored an offensive line that opened holes for Jim Nance to amass a team-record 45 rushing touchdowns from 1965-1971. </p>
<p>During his time at Holy Cross, Morris was a three-year starter as a center and linebacker. He served as the Crusaders' team captain in 1963, and earned first team All-New England honors during his junior and senior seasons. Morris was inducted into the Holy Cross Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 1973. </p>
