Vote my situation plz, LA or SD based on major..

I'm in the eternal debate between UCSD and UCLA, and i've begun to realize that i will not come to a solid conclusion by 6/1.

that being said...with everything non-academic aside (athletics, dorms, location, etc), in my shoes would you rather:

-UCSD-
Int'l Studies - PoliSci

-UCLA-
European Studies

a simple vote would be awesome, based on job opps, reputation, etc..

UCLA

when you think of a University from the good old days the University you’re thinking about is UCLA.

it is a really picturesque University.UCSD cannot compare… the academics, architecture and vibe of UCLA are out of UCSD’s league.

go to UCLA, be a Bruin.

hmmmm to be honest, you’re gonna have a hard time finding jobs with both of those degrees. so i say go to ucla, get a good gpa (that major doesn’t sound too difficult), and eventually go to a good grad school. good luck

Check out the second hit when you google “Undergraduate political science rankings”. It’s a pdf and rankings start on pg.12

Also, the strength of an undergraduate program often correlates with the strength of the graduate program…

I figured these sources would have more credence than my two cents. Try to take each one with a grain of salt, and the best of luck to you.

oh, i wasn’t aware that a degree from a tier 1 university put me at a disadvantage. thanks for taking a sh1t over me feeling good about my acceptances.

@jane
you make it hard for me to say no when you throw in my email…hahah

ucm

who wouldn’t!???

I also need help.

I can switch into Urban Studies and Planning at UCSD

or go to UCLA for Anthropology, BA
