One of the important things that I know has been stressed at Uarts is how as artists you must understand what is going on in the world around you – so you as artists can make it better. Do your part.

We debated this; whether to have my son vote absentee in Wisconsin or in Pennsylvania. He turned 18 shortly before he moved and has been so excited to vote. He finally decided to vote absentee from Wisconsin since this looks to also be a close state.

Also, did you know---The Today Show will be broadcasting from Independence Hall tomorrow as part of a series this week highlighting a few battleground states. I suggested to my son to try to get over there and that he should probably set his alarm for EARLY to be there a good hour or so before the broadcast begins. I think he plans to try to head over.

NYtheatermom, I tried to click on the voting article and it's not on there anymore (I clicked registration when the web site opened). Any suggestions. My D wanted to see about registering in PA.

In a nut shell, you must be residing in the county in which you intend to vote for at least 30 days before the election and be 18. Actual registration must be done through the county in which you reside. The site provides links to the county sites. You can register online or print an application for mailing.

Edit note - Turns out to be the same site as nytheatermom #5 - the "Home" label threw me too.
